How much does the service cost?
Commercial projects are $2000 per subject scan hour. This includes the fMRI scan, the analysis and the report.

How many subjects do you typically scan?
The best fMRI statistics come from 16 or more subjects per demographic group. Although, a single individual like a CEO or film director could also scan his or her own brain on their company's materials, and see what their objective brain thinks of the work. It's up to you.

How long does it take to receive results?
Once the design has been developed and tested results can be obtained in hours.

Where are you located?
San Diego, CA.

Can your service be performed in different cities?
Yes, however it is more expensive due to the extra travel and MRI rental/setup costs.

How does fMRI work?
fMRI measures the change in magnetic fields caused by surges of blood flow in small areas of brain.

What's the difference between EEG and FMRI neuromarketing?
They're really very different. EEG measures electrical brainwaves, and fMRI measures neurological blood flow. EEG can be done in a supermarket. fMRI uses a 20 ton magnet, and can only be done at specific 3T MRI facilities. EEG is faster, collecting data every millisecond. fMRI collects data every 1-2 seconds. EEG is topical, and doesn't look at structures deep inside the brain. fMRI can show you every millimeter of brain area, and how it's activating at any given moment, to many given stimuli.

Why use fMRI versus EEG neuromarketing?
Don't. Use both at the same time.
